About Corey
I have a background in writing and producing film, I have worked in higher education for Seven Years , I have a BA in Sociology, Master in Public Administration. I am TEFL certified, I have my Project Management Certification, Six Sigma White and Yellow belt, Life and Health Insurance License.
I owned my own book publishing company from 2011 to 2016., editing books, magazines, graphic novels, movie scripts, etc. A modern day jack of all trades.

I believe in the Socratic method I think if a student is able to use deductive reasoning to solve a problem they will build their confidence in how to do so for the future. I develop lesson plans based on areas where students struggle the most and start with those issues.
I then will cover materials that are easier to understand and/or where the student feels like they have their confidence. I offer a lot of analogies to give real life example to abstract ideas.
I can tailor lessons to students at most levels ranging from elementary to college level. in areas of Sociology, English, Political science, Philosophy, Reading comprehension.
