eography is the science of the physical nature of the earth, such as land and sea masses, climate and vegetation, and their interaction with the human population. It is also regarded as the physical features of a region. Nigeria is located in the Wes- Africa sub-continent and it is presently acknowledge as the most populous country in Africa with about 180,000,000 million people. It is bounded in the north by the Republic of Chad, in the west by the Republic of Benin, in the east by the Republic of Cameroon, and in the south by the Gulf of Guinea. History is from the Greek word Historia which means to investigate or inquire. In the words of E. H. Carr, it is an unending dialogue between the historian and the past. Therefore, the geographical survey of Nigeria history is an attempt to underscore the interaction between the Nigeria physical environment and her people.Yes
