I am a well organised and passionate primary teacher with a number of years teaching experience behind me. I have worked in inner city schools as well as those in more rural areas and can adapt my teaching style to suit the needs of a diverse group of children. I have great enthusiasm and energy for teaching and have been part of teams that have achieved great key stage results in the past. I have worked within schools graded as ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted and very recently worked hard to gain an Ofsted inspection result of ‘good’ at my most recent school.

Academic Qualifications

Degree: BA Primary Education KS2 (Hons) Geography specialism (from Roehampton University 2011-2014)
A Levels: English Language and Literature (B), Environmental Science (C), Psychology (C), Italian AS (B) and Sociology AS (C)
GSCEs: 9 including English (A), Mathematics (B) and Science (B).

Professional Qualifications

• Safeguarding Level 2
• PREVENT training
• Completed a course in ‘Maths Mastery’
• Drivers licence
• TEFL qualification

Position Title: Class Teacher (Year 3)
Employer: Fircroft Primary School, Wandsworth, London
Dates Worked: September 2016 – July 2017
• Geography subject lead ensuring that all teachers were confident delivering the 2014 geography curriculum
• Organised several school trips including a 3 day residential trip to a rural farm location
• Liaised with the deputy head and phase leader to organise a new procedure for tracking children’s personal targets
• Mentored several work experience students and volunteers with classroom duties and the wider school environment
• Ran an after school choir club for children in KS2 which involved a performance evening and CD recording

• Liaised closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth transition with classroom management, children’s personal targets and the delivery of the curriculum

• Developed a new library lending scheme and redesigned the school library
• Liaised with the head teacher ensuring all classrooms had a suitable supply of age appropriate books displayed in inviting and exciting ‘reading corners’
• Joined the ‘Core Subject’ team working closely with colleagues ensuring the new 2014 curriculum was being delivered appropriately
• Led a small team of colleagues aimed at ensuring year 6 children were in the best position for new SATs testing which involved pre-teaching, booster groups and interventions
• Ran SATs revision classes before and after schools
• Mentored university education students during their school placement
