About Just
7 Dan on Fox before taking a more passionate and casual approach. As for chess, it has always been a passion to me in my childhood, and I am looking forward in sharing my knowledge about the game with my students.
Having lots of experience teaching both Chess and Go, I have concluded that repetition is not the key. To improve, students first need the right mindset and understanding of the game. I put extra emphasis on understanding and fundamentals in my lessons.
As for communication and time zones, lessons are available in English or Chinese. English is preferred. I live in Pacific Time Zone (PST).

In my lessons, I am heart-to-heart with students and strive to help them be at their best ability. As an experienced tutor, I've noticed that many students do not have the right mindset in a game of Chess/Go, and instead of playing mindlessly, a careful approach to understanding the game is key.
As for Chess lessons, I am offering lessons for Beginner-Intermediate level students, and we can find a suitable time for us later.
As for Go lessons, I am an advanced player (7 Dan on Fox) so I will be offering lessons from the beginner level up until advanced.
