About Caroline

I have a Bachelor of Science from the United States Air Force Academy and a Minor in Mandarin Chinese. I love teaching and explaining things. I find great satisfaction in it. I love helping other people and am very patient and easy to work with.

About the lesson

I start out with an overview of what we are going to learn. I then explain the concepts in full detail. I focus on what YOU need through asking questions and work through it with you. I explain things simply and fully. I make it easy.

Perfect! My college daughter was experiencing difficulties in Calculus and Caroline was very patient and thorough in explaining/solving the problems to where my daughter actually understood. Caroline helped her so much that my daughter passed this much needed class. Caroline is awesome as a tutor and a person. We both thank her from the bottom of our hearts and very highly recommend her! Details

For Zoom tutoring, the rate is $25/hr. For in-person tutoring, the rate is $25/hr, plus up to $30 depending on location, as I live very far North. Please reach out to see what the exact travel cost would be for your location. For in person lessons requiring travel, I recommend booking multiple hours at a time to get full use of the travel fee. I highly recommend Zoom tutoring to nearly all my students, as there is no travel fee, we can work through online lessons, share screens and visuals, and I work the problems live on the screen from a digital writing pad connected to my computer. It is easy to explain online and I have coached many students to success via this method.
I would also like to add that I am available for SAT prep classes as well.
