About Nam

Hi! My name's Nam, and I am dedicated to fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematics in my students, preparing them for future academic and professional success.

A bit about me:
✪ I am an ex-JP Morgan with a degree in MMORSE from the University of Warwick, where I developed a profound understanding of mathematics and its real-world applications.
✪ My academic prowess is evidenced by:
- Awarded a two-year scholarship covering 70% of tuition fees for A-Level studies in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics, achieved grades of A*, A, and A respectively.
- Two-year gold medal streak in the UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge
- Two-year Merit streak in the UKMT Andrew Jobbings Senior Kangaroo Challenge
- Bronze Medal at the WMTC 2018 (World's Mathematics Team Competition) in Beijing, China
- Received the Outstanding Student Award from Hanoi's People's Committee
✪ I have successfully taught over 100 students, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to excel academically. My teaching approach is highly personalised, focusing on understanding each student’s challenges and goals.

➌ Strategic Edge: Achieving top grades involves more than just knowing the material; it’s also about mastering the techniques to uncover and navigate the tricks hidden in exam questions.
➍ Engagement Through Feedback: Your investment in my lessons deserves a personalised approach. I prioritise your feedback to tailor my teaching to how you learn best.
➎ Applying Maths to the Real World: We relate mathematical concepts to everyday life, such as calculating the shortest routes to school, making the subject practical and relevant.

I am strong on all boards: Edexcel, AQA, and OCR.
I also guide through UCAS, personal statements, and university advice for Maths/Stats/Finance enthusiasts!
