About Will
I am a Chemistry Master’s graduate from the University of Warwick and will soon be moving to Florence to begin a PhD. I achieved A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A-level, so I understand the level of knowledge, organisation and exam technique needed to succeed in science subjects.
I am friendly, patient and enthusiastic about helping students feel more confident with challenging topics. I know that science can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I aim to explain ideas clearly, break problems down step by step, and help students build confidence over time.
Outside of academics, I enjoy surfing, travelling and playing football, and I try to bring that same energy and enthusiasm into my lessons.

My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A-level students studying Biology, Chemistry or Physics. I usually offer one-hour lessons, with each session tailored to the student’s current level, confidence and exam board. My approach focuses on building strong subject understanding first, then applying this knowledge through exam-style questions, past papers and clear mark-scheme practice. I also use active recall, spaced repetition and targeted revision techniques to help students remember key content more effectively.
I achieved A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A-level and have completed a Master’s degree in Chemistry at the University of Warwick. I understand what is needed to succeed in science exams and can help students improve both their knowledge and exam technique.
