About Hyerin

Hello! I’m Julia, a passionate Korean tutor with a background in Applied Chemical and Biological Engineering. Having graduated from university and gained over 7 years of customer service experience, including working at Starbucks, I’ve developed strong communication skills and a warm, approachable teaching style. I have also volunteered teaching languages in multicultural settings and completed an internship in Paraguay, which helped me understand diverse learners and tailor my teaching to each student’s unique needs. I’m fluent in English and can communicate in basic Chinese, which allows me to connect with students from various backgrounds. I understand how challenging learning a new language can be, so I create a supportive and encouraging environment where mistakes are welcomed as part of the learning process. Perfect! Hyerin is the best Korean teacher I've met so far. She is kind and patient, serious but joyful.
