About Elsie
I am a postgraduate that has been practicing yoga for the last 2 years. After graduating I decided to follow what I was most passionate about and enrolled on a 200hr teacher training programme in Rishikesh, India. The yoga lifestyle has offered me such a level of contentment and happiness, that I wish to share the knowledge and practice with as many people as I can.

My favourite yoga style to teach is Yin, as it requires student and teacher to really get in touch with their own peace of mind. I find that when a Yin class is over, individuals are left with a greater sense of calm and a relaxed stability, ready for whatever the world may throw at them. However, I aim to create a tranquil environment and experience in every style of yoga I teach. I like to cater my lessons around YOU; whether you are a beginner, intermediate or practiced yogi - I can create a lesson that fits around your wants and needs.
I like to start every lesson with a theme that revolves around the mental yoga teachings, e.g. Acceptance, Grounding, Self-love, and additionally the physical disciples, e.g. balancing, spinal twists, forward bends etc... Therefore, giving students complete awareness of their own practice. I also like to involve an empowering mantra or short poem that relates to the themes at the start, during pranayama practice, and end, while resting in Savasana. All these components I believe create a peaceful and rewarding environment, where individuals can exercise their mind and body to whatever level feels most comfortable to them.
