About Abhirup
My name is Abhirup Santra. I am a student with a deep passion for poetry, especially in the classical and lyrical style. I enjoy writing poems that reflect emotions, nature, love, and inner thoughts. I have even created my own rhyme scheme, known as the ABHIRUPian rhyme scheme (AABB ACDC EFEF GG). Literature, films, and music bring me comfort, and I strongly believe in giving new voices a chance to shine. Apart from academics, I am thoughtful, expressive, and always seeking beauty in words.

Poetry Analysis & Writing Tips
31. Always identify speaker, not the poet.
32. Look for theme – what the poem is really about.
33. Identify tone – mood or attitude of the speaker.
34. Understand the imagery – what senses are being engaged?
35. Pay attention to title – it often contains hidden meaning.
36. Break the poem into sections for easier analysis.
37. Teach students to paraphrase lines in simple English.
38. Encourage use of poetic devices in their own writing.
39. Help them relate poems to real-life themes or situations.
40. Practice writing both analytical answers and original poems.
