About Anushka
I have been teaching math to children like you for the past [number of years, e.g., “four years”]. I love math because it is like solving puzzles and discovering secrets hidden in numbers! In our math class, we will: Learn with fun games and stories, Use colorful charts and real-life examples, Ask lots of questions and find answers together, And most importantly — never be afraid of making mistakes, because that’s how we learn! I want you to see that math is not just about numbers on paper — it’s about the world around us, from counting your toys to sharing chocolates with friends. Yes, I would like to share some thoughts on adopting diverse and child-friendly methods to teach mathematics to students of classes 1–5. Activity-Based Learning: Introducing math through hands-on activities—like using beads, flashcards, abacus, and number games—helps young children relate numbers to real life and build conceptual understanding. Visual Learning: Using colorful charts, story problems, and drawing shapes allows children to ‘see’ math and improves retention. Playful Methods: Incorporating puzzles, math corners, and board games makes learning interactive and joyful, reducing math anxiety. Storytelling Approach: Teaching concepts like addition and subtraction through simple stories helps children understand and remember them better. Experiential Learning: Taking children outdoors to count trees, leaves, or steps makes math more meaningful and concrete.
