About PRADEEP

I have Bachelors of Science(B.Sc) with honours degree in Mathematics from University of Delhi, Master of Science(M.Sc) in Mathematics from Chaudhary Charan Singh University.I have successfully completed the NPTEL certification course ,sponsored by Indian Institute of Technology Madras in Linear Algebra with 86%. Currently I'm pursuing M.Phil in Mathematics from Chaudhary Charan Singh University (Research Topic-Review of Soft topological spaces).I've also presented a research paper on title-Remark on Shabbir-Naz's Paper:On Soft topological spaces.

I've qualified Graduate Aptitude test for Engineers(GATE)-2019 in Mathematics & CSIR-UGC NETJRF-2019 in Mathematics.

I've 4 years experience of teaching Mathematics to Undergraduates.I've also taught (Calculus,Algebra,Combinatorics) to IIT-JEE aspirants in a private coaching institute from 2016 to 2018 . I've also experienced of tutoring to M.Sc students of University Delhi in Functional Analysis for 6 months in 2019.

Suppose I have to teach Algebra then I start any topic by giving my students a motivation that "What is Algebra?","Why should you study Algebra?"What will you miss if you do not explore this province of mathematics.
This motivation starts with the explanation of "How Algebra began?".The answer to this question is -Algebra began with computations similar to those of arithmetic, with letters standing for numbers. This allowed proofs of properties that are true no matter which numbers are involved. For example, in the quadratic equation

ax^2+bx+c=0,
a,b,c can be any numbers whatsoever (except that ) a cannot be zero, and the quadratic formula can be used to quickly and easily find the values of the unknown quantity x which satisfy the equation. That is to say, to find all the solutions of the equation.

Historically, and in current teaching, the study of algebra starts with the solving of equations such as the quadratic equation above. Then more general questions, such as "does an equation have a solution?", "how many solutions does an equation have?", "what can be said about the nature of the solutions?" are considered. These questions led extending algebra to non-numerical objects, such as permutations, vectors, matrices, and polynomials. The structural properties of these non-numerical objects were then abstracted into algebraic structures such as groups, rings, and fields.

Now,What are the branches of Algebra?
Algebra has many branches such as Elementary Algebra,Abstract Algebra & many more...

Usually,I teach Elementary Algebra,Abstract Algebra (so telling students abut other branches of Algebra such as Computer Algebra,Commutative Algebra etc seems non-sense to me).

Now,Suppose I've to teach Abstract Algebra, then I initiate with something that student already know.Like, before teaching students algebraic structures I would like to tell them about symmetries of squares, triangles and then proceed further with groups,rings,fields,...
