About Irsyad

Hello everyone! I'm Irsyad, a Mechanical Engineering student at Taylor's University with a passion for making Math and Additional Math approachable and stress-free. Throughout high school, I excelled in both Math and Additional Math, achieving A* for both examinations in my IGCSE. Having achieved this milestone, I understand the exact techniques needed to master these subjects and excel under tremendous exam pressure.

In addition to that, my academic journey includes a total of 9 A’s for my IGCSE and a CGPA of 3.93 for my Foundation in Engineering. Over time, I developed a passion for teaching these subjects after helping many of my friends break down daunting topics into clear and manageable steps.

I have one year of tutoring experience and am eager to expand further! I would love to assist anyone who is struggling with the Additional Math and Math syllabus, and I will adapt my teaching style to match your learning pace. I generally teach in English, but I can also provide instructions in Malay if needed.

About the lesson

- The subject code is 0606 (Add Maths) and 0580 (Maths)

- I offer a very versatile learning experience! I will typically start from the very beginning of the syllabus for beginners but can also adapt to your mathematical abilities!

- For students who struggle or need a gentler pace, don’t you worry! I’ll break down complex concepts step-by-step to build confidence. Through our lessons, I’ll be able to identify the students’ strengths and weaknesses, and tailor a suitable study plan that can be practiced!

- Receive structured 38-page worth of hand-written revision notes, which covers the whole syllabus, in PDF form!

- Practice questions and also flashcards will constantly be provided as study materials and are discussed during subsequent classes

- Furthermore, I’ll provide my own suggestions on certain strategies and techniques that I have previously used throughout my exam experiences to maximise exam scores and highlight their effectiveness.

- My class will usually last around 2 hours (also versatile to match students’ availability and preference).

- As for Year 10s, Year 11s, and all students who are already strong with all concepts, I will focus on Past Year Papers.
