About Kyle

My voice teaching journey ignited through organic, peer-to-peer coaching — freely sharing insights with fellow singers long before, and even amid, my studies at Juilliard, Curtis, and MDW in Vienna. Embracing the classic ethos of group learning where we all lifted each other up, I offered endless no-cost sessions that further sharpened my learned-ear and helped to fill technical gaps left by a faculty far more qualified on-paper than I. This genuine, collaborative foundation now fuels my tailored online lessons, helping you unlock range, confidence, and artistry with the same unfiltered passion that sparked it all. I've also deeply researched and studied the training and extant processes by which one becomes a singer in the 21st century through over 200+ hours of singer interviews from artists across the professional spectrum, along with many years of regular analytical research into the history of singing and the teaching of singing. This has allowed me to slowly reverse engineer an approach to the teaching of singers that directly responds to the shortcomings of the voice teachers and vocal coaches leading today's educational and artistic institutions.

About the lesson

I provide expert vocal instruction to students of all ages (children, teens, college students, adults, middle-aged, seniors, etc.) and skill levels (beginning, amateur, advanced, professional, etc.), tailoring our lessons to your individual needs and goals. While my specialty lies in Opera and Musical Theatre, I've successfully taught multiple singers in Rock, Soul, Pop, Jazz, Folk, Metal, Singer/Songwriter, Country, and R&B. My instructional and technical approach is grounded in specific, time-tested, and science-backed otolaryngological techniques of vocal development, with major emphasis upon the teaching methods of the most successful vocal instructors of the last three centuries.

And, should you be worried my skills may be too advanced for the type of vocal instruction you're looking for, I'll share the most important thing about singing I've learned thus far: ANYONE can learn how to sing. ANYone.

Through studying one's own personal vocal functionality, pitch/tuning accuracy, resonance, reflexive response, range, tonal clarity/timbre, breath management, agility, stamina, flexibility, and ease of their vocal production, ALL of the familiar fears, worries, and discomforts singers have experienced for centuries can be overcome.
