Hello My name is Louise. I am from Ireland and I speak Portugues (Brazil) fluently. I really started to learn Portugues when I was in Brazil on a farm for 1 month without access to the Internet. It was the first time i was surrounded by people who only spoke Portugues and no English at all. I also had a TV with Portugues subtitles and this really helped. My advice to anybody wanting to learn a new language would be to surround yourself with people who only speak that language.
