As someone who has collaborated and sung with Shalaka, she is a super talented singer/musician, anyone would be lucky to have her as a vocal coach. She has a clear understanding of the voice and how it works, plus she is the right amount of patient and honest with anyone she’s working with. Unlike some teachers I’ve worked with in the past that set a strict curriculum based on their own personal biases, she sets a course based on her student’s passions and desires that way they might feel more inspired and enjoy the process.
