About Charlee

I have a passion for English and the Humanities and love to instill this passion in all of my students in a classroom and tutoring format. I look forward to meeting and working with new people and developing their confidence in my subject areas.

About the lesson

In addition to my full-time role as an English and Humanities teacher, I provide personalised tutoring sessions designed to support students in developing literacy, critical thinking, and subject-specific knowledge. My tutoring approach is tailored to individual learning styles and needs, with a focus on building confidence, improving academic outcomes, and deepening understanding of curriculum content. I work with students across various year levels to strengthen skills in reading comprehension, essay/ comparative/ creative writing, fluency and grammar, source analysis, themes analysis, historical inquiry, and exam/ assessment preparation.

We’re so grateful for Charlee’s support and guidance with our 14 year old. She’s not only improved academic outcomes, but has done so with warmth, patience and a friendly, approachable manner. Our son looks forward to sessions and has grown in both confidence and application of learning in his schoolwork. Thank you Charlee for making such a positive difference!

Working with Charlee has supported me to grow in my capabilities in English and humanities, but mostly my confidence. She brings her expertise as a secondary teacher to each session, which is allowing me to achieve results higher than what I’d be able to do independently. Thank you, Charlee!
