My teaching method for violin is based on three principles: demonstration, feedback, and reliability. I believe learning violin requires patience, effort, and clear direction. My aim is to help students develop technique, expression, and love for the instrument. Demonstration is central. I show how professionals use techniques in performances. I use recordings and videos to illustrate bowing and phrasing. I share experiences from my career and past students. When students struggle, I refer to similar cases and explain solutions. Feedback is essential. I give specific comments on posture, bowing, pitch, rhythm, and expression. I highlight strengths and areas for improvement. I teach self-listening so students can self-correct. Reliability provides a secure environment. I am punctual, prepared, and consistent. Students know what to expect. I communicate clearly and check on practice. My curriculum covers technique, intonation, reading, theory, and repertoire. I teach posture, bow hold, and finger placement. I use scales and études. I teach pitch with ear training. Sight-reading uses graded materials. Theory covers keys and intervals. Repertoire covers classical, folk, and contemporary. I teach phrasing and dynamics. Ear training is included. Performance preparation builds confidence. Each lesson has warm-ups, scales, repertoire, and review. I assess progress and adjust. My goal is to develop confident, expressive violinists.
