About JESSICA

I am a violinist with over 15 years of experience performing and teaching students of all ages. My passion for the violin began early, and I have dedicated my career to sharing both the artistry and discipline of this instrument. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding beginners through their first notes as well as helping advanced players refine technique, expression, and performance. I studied at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) – Herb Alpert School of Music, where I received formal training in violin performance, music theory, and ensemble playing. This world-class education gave me a strong foundation in both technical precision and musical interpretation, which I bring to every lesson I teach. As a teacher, I believe in balancing structure with creativity. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel inspired to grow, develop their skills, and gain confidence as musicians. Whether you dream of playing in an orchestra, performing solo pieces, or simply learning for personal enjoyment, I tailor my lessons to help you reach your goals.

About the lesson

My violin lessons are designed to help students develop solid technical skills while also learning to play with musicality and expression. Each lesson is carefully structured to match the student’s level, whether they are brand-new beginners or advanced players working on complex repertoire.

Students will learn proper posture, bowing technique, intonation, scales, and sight-reading, along with musical phrasing and interpretation. I also integrate music theory into lessons to give students a deeper understanding of the music they play, making them more confident and versatile musicians.

Above all, I strive to keep learning enjoyable and motivating. With patience, encouragement, and clear goals, I ensure each student not only makes consistent progress but also develops a lifelong appreciation for the violin and music as a whole.

Because my schedule is highly booked, I recommend students purchase lesson packages for smoother scheduling:

5 hours or 10 hours upfront, paid securely through PayPal.

As a bonus, for every 4 paid hours, I add an extra 15 minutes per lesson, which totals to one full additional free hour across the package.

This arrangement ensures consistency in lessons, better progress, and a reserved time slot just for you.
