Violin is my life and I would love to share that passion with our youth! I am classically/Suzuki trained but have also dabbled in fiddle, blues, country and many other types of genres!

About Jai
I have been playing violin since I was 8 years old (13 years), and have been classically trained through Suzuki. I have been in orchestra from 7-12th grade and have attended regionals every year and competed in All-State Sophomore and Junior year, placing bronze and silver. I read treble clef fluently and can read bass and tenor although I'm not as comfortable with them (yet!) I have also been taught fiddle style/technique by a teacher from Ireland, as well as dabbled in gypsy music, blues/jazz, rock, and most genres. I've had the wonderful experience being part of a pit orchestra for a Broadway production of Peter Pan, have had 3 different quartet groups one of whom played at the Lieutenant Governor of Texas Dan Patrick's mansion. I've dedicated many summers, being in multiple camps, played in a mariachi band and many more fabulous experiences and events. Music is my passion, and to be able to teach that to our younger generation would be so rewarding. I also love children and have enjoyed every opportunity I've had to teach them. I've been to multiple middle schools as well as elementary schools to assist my teachers/instructors to help and teach younger students. I would be honored to be able to be immersed in the music world again as I have missed that part of my life so dearly.
