About Donna
I am a violin tutor with 7 years of experience and a Master of Music in Violin Pedagogy. I enjoy helping students develop their musical abilities through encouraging lessons and carefully planned practice that builds confidence over time.
My teaching approach combines patience, structure, and flexibility so learners improve comfortably while strengthening both technique and artistic expression. Every lesson is designed to make progress enjoyable and meaningful.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing orchestral works, studying violin literature, and exploring different performance traditions. These experiences allow me to share practical musical knowledge and fresh inspiration with every student.

My violin lessons help students build strong technical skills while enjoying the beauty of music from the very beginning. We practice posture, bow control, finger placement, rhythm, tone production, intonation, listening skills, and smooth coordination using practical exercises that encourage confidence and steady improvement.
As learners advance, we explore scales, shifting, vibrato, expressive phrasing, sight reading, ensemble playing, performance preparation, and focused practice techniques. I also introduce relaxation exercises and visualization methods that help students perform comfortably while improving musical expression.
My goal is to help every student develop confidence, discipline, and expressive playing through supportive and enjoyable lessons. Every class builds lasting technique while encouraging creativity and a genuine love for violin music.
