About Frida

Hi There !

My name is Frida.

I grew up in Sweden with Sami origins. The Samis are an indigenous people from an area that covers the north of Sweden their religion and mine is shamanism.

In 2011 I chose to leave Sweden to come and live in France. I found myself uprooted from my spirituality and felt like I had lost myself. This is where I first turned to yoga, practicing Hâta Yoga at home with my teacher. I found myself through yoga, but also I fell in love with the practice and philosophy of yoga that matches and fits so well with my shamanic religion.

My journey made me want to give the same experience to other people. In 2020 I finally decided to do my training as a Certified Yoga Alliance 200H yoga teacher with Rachel Henberry Yoga.

About the lesson

The path of yoga is different for each practitioner. We are all looking for something different to feel better and to get closer to ourselves, it can be among other things, flexibility, muscle strength, patience, getting rid of pain, finding calm of the mind, spirituality or curiosity.

My role is to guide you in your yoga to help you find what brought you to me and to make you discover yoga, very often what brings us is not what makes us stay.

Yoga is a journey of the mind and body that gives rise to new knowledge and self-confidence that goes far beyond the physical if you will. I practice Vinyasa yoga, it is dynamic yoga, we move and we set our rhythm with the breath. Integrated in my classes, I also offer breathing exercises (Pranayama) and meditation.

I put a lot of emphasis on preparation and muscle activation to protect the body's joints and muscles in the long run.

Each class is prepared for you and it lasts one hour. The lessons are therefore open to everyone, elderly people, people with a disability, children, beginners, intermediate people, exc.

I also give lessons in a stable and offer lessons adapted for riders. I advise you to practice 1 to 3 sessions to discover and find out if yoga pleases you, and 4 to 5 to start feeling the benefits of yoga.

Details

Classes are open during the CORONA period :
- At your home
- Outdoors, (if the weather permittis)
- Via webcam

one-hour private lessons via webcam / at your home:
1 lesson: 40 € per session
5 lessons package: 38 € per session
10 lessons package: 35 € per session

For one-hour group lessons:
For 2 people: 40 euros (i.e. 20 euros / pers)
For 3 people: 40 euros (or 14 euros / pers)
For 4 people: 40 euros (i.e. 10 euros / pers)

I can also travel to a company for group sessions, the price will be adapted according to the number of sessions and participants.
