About James
Hi, I’m James, a Veterinary Medicine graduate from the University of Liverpool with a strong background in biology, physiology and clinical sciences. I’m passionate about helping students improve their confidence, understanding and exam performance through clear and supportive teaching.
Having completed an intensive science-based degree, I understand how challenging exams and revision can feel, and I aim to make difficult concepts easier to understand in a calm and approachable way. My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals and learning style, whether they need help improving grades, building confidence or preparing for important exams.
I teach GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate Biology online with flexible scheduling and an exam-focused approach.

I tutor GCSE and A-Level Biology online using a clear, structured and exam-focused approach. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and focus on improving understanding, confidence and exam technique through active recall, past paper questions and simplified explanations of difficult topics.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and include guided teaching, worked examples and question practice. As a Veterinary Medicine graduate from the University of Liverpool, I have a strong background in biology, physiology and clinical sciences and aim to create a supportive, calm and engaging learning environment for students of all abilities.
