About Allen

I previously taught in Florence, Italy, and prepared exams for a private language academy for both children and teenagers. I created a dynamic and fun environment to learn, with the purpose of teaching the language to my students. I also had the pleasure of working in an academy where I taught English to adults, at levels A1, B2, C1 and professional English for lawyers. My classes are tailored to each student in particular, as each focuses on something different. I offer conversational classes, grammar structures, extensive vocabulary, readings, essays and on-the-job / course attendance (including essays, lectures and document research in English). And without a doubt, if you have any special requests, I can help you do it. I adapt working at the schedule that suits you.

About the lesson

Hello,

It is with great enthusiasm that I present to you my letter of presentation in consideration for being your private English tutor or for a position as an ESL teacher with your company. I have a Bachelors of Art in Advertising and Public Relations with sub-studies in French.

I have also earned a TEFL certificate with hours, including hours of course work, 20 hours of practicum and 30 hours of teaching English to young business professionals. I have also put this practice to use by teaching in the United States, Italy and Spain.

In Italy I taught students from ages of 5 to 65 in the courses of fundamental English, A1, A2, B2, C1 and Business English.

Currently, I am a private English teacher in Terrassa, Sabadell, Barcelona and Molins de Rei. I travel to my classes by Renfe, FGC or metro to my classes. My students ages range from 10-50 years old.

My curriculum vitae (CV) will be given upon request. It highlights my experiences in a classroom setting as well as tutoring non-Native speakers. Teaching English is one of my many passions, because I am able to help others achieve their goals of learning another language. Learning new languages is another passion of mine.

One of my most effective ways that I assist ESL students is by developing and presenting comprehensible and stimulating lesson plans that help all learning styles. I research and incorporate a variety of resources to accommodate students via visual, audio, oral and written methods.

I am truly excited to be living in Barcelona and living amongst a culture that has a great value on architecture, tradition, family and food. I am currently learning and living in Barcelona. I am available for work all weekdays and weekends during the summer; However other seasons vary I am available for contact anytime via email or phone.
