About Mary
With 11 years of professional teaching experience, I am an enthusiastic Flute Tutor for high school and college students. Over these two years, I have guided between 300 and 350 students and helped them improve their musical skills and self-confidence. My teaching style is simple, patient, and student-friendly. I focus on breath control, finger movements, rhythm practice, sound clarity, and performance skills. I make sure students understand each lesson clearly before moving forward. I believe clear guidance and regular practice bring the best results. One of the biggest milestones in my teaching journey has been helping students perform confidently at school functions, college festivals, and music exams. Many students who were once nervous now play the flute with pride and happiness. I always treat my students with care, respect, and motivation. I understand that every learner is different, and I adjust my teaching method to match their needs. My aim is to guide students to become confident musicians and express themselves freely through music.

My flute teaching methodology supports students from beginner to advanced level using communication, accountability, and integrity. I first build a strong foundation in breathing, posture, tone control, and finger movement. As students grow, I introduce advanced scales, faster rhythm patterns, and expressive playing techniques. Communication helps students clearly understand each level of learning. I guide them with patience and simple explanations. Accountability builds discipline through proper practice routines and progress tracking. Integrity ensures fair teaching, honest feedback, and strong student-teacher trust. Along with flute, I also teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, and basic composition ideas. These related subjects help students become well-rounded musicians. My goal is to guide students through every level of flute learning with confidence, discipline, and enjoyment.
