About Azam
My name is Azam, and I'm currently studying Biomedical Sciences at Monash University. I graduated from McKinnon Secondary College with an ATAR of 98.15, achieving a scaled study score of 48 in VCE Math Methods. I specialize in tutoring VCE Units 1–4 Methods and Year 7–10 Math, and I bring genuine, proven results to every student including taking one Year 8 student from the 70s into a consistent 90s. Beyond academics, I love playing sport and staying active, which keeps me energized, disciplined, and able to bring that same focus and positive mindset into my tutoring. I combine strong subject expertise with a focus on mindset and exam performance, giving students both the knowledge and the confidence to succeed.

About My Tutoring
Hi, I'm Azam. My approach to tutoring is a little different: alongside strong Math content, I focus heavily on mental preparation, helping students build the mindset and confidence to consistently execute under exam conditions. VCE Math isn't just about knowing the content; it's about performing when it counts, and that's where I help students bridge the gap.
How I Teach
Lessons run for 1 hour, combining targeted content review, exam-style practice, and strategies to manage pressure, stay focused, and avoid careless errors; the kind of small mindset shifts that turn "knowing it" into "scoring it."
My Experience
I achieved a scaled study score of 48 in VCE Math Methods, and I've helped students see real, measurable growth including taking one Year 8 student from the 70s to a consistent 90s.
