About Tom
My sister is a teacher and my partner works in a pre-school. I've seen how rewarding teaching and helping can be and believe I could genuinely have a positive impact on those I tutor.
I wasn't overly studious in year 12 - I played in the footy team and had fun during class. In my own time, however, I learnt how to simplify concepts and stay logical. I think this makes my experience relatable to current students who are looking for an extra edge and don't currently know how to study efficiently.
Since graduating, I've completed my Bachelors degree in Economics & Finance, applying my logical and simplistic methods to achieve a GPA of 3.5/4.

I'm logical and don't like to complicate things. I taught myself without a tutor throughout year 12, didn't pay much attention to the teachers, and acheived an ATAR of 93.20 from 5 subjects. Because of this, I've learned how to simplify concepts and make them easy to remember. I had a good life balance throughout my studies and am a big advocate for healthy lifestyles invigorating good study scores. Whilst I'll be able to help you achieve greater academic scores, I believe I'd also be a good personal mentor.
