About Amine

I am a patient, approachable and dedicated tutor who genuinely enjoys helping students make progress. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to identify their strengths, challenges and individual goals before adapting my lessons accordingly.

I have experience tutoring students aged approximately 5 to 18 in Mathematics and English, including students preparing for important examinations. I have also worked with a team of senior Mathematics students to support baccalaureate students with their exam preparation.

My academic background has given me a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, while my experience as a tutor has helped me develop strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills. I always aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building their confidence.

Whether a student needs help understanding a difficult topic, preparing for an exam or simply becoming more confident in a subject, I am committed to supporting them and helping them reach their goals.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is centred around understanding each student as an individual and adapting my teaching to their level, learning style and goals. I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and are not afraid of making mistakes, so I create a patient, supportive and encouraging environment.

For Maths, I focus on developing genuine understanding rather than simply memorising methods. I break difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps, explain the reasoning behind each method, and use practice questions to help students build confidence and problem-solving skills. For English, I adapt my lessons depending on the student's needs, working on areas such as grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, writing and communication.

Lessons typically last around 60 minutes, although I can adapt the length depending on the student's age, level and needs. I have been tutoring Mathematics and English since 2025, working with students from approximately 5 to 18 years old, including students preparing for national examinations. I have also worked as part of a team of senior Mathematics students helping Algerian baccalaureate students prepare for their Mathematics examinations.

I am currently studying Computing Systems at university and have a strong academic background in Mathematics and Physics, having achieved 19/20 in Mathematics and 19/20 in Physics in my Algerian Baccalaureate. I offer lessons for primary, secondary, GCSE-equivalent and A-Level-equivalent students, and I am happy to work with students of different abilities and confidence levels.
