About Carol

Currently, I am a freshman at Dartmouth College. I have been tutoring younger kids as well as helping peers with work for over 5 years. After receiving my lessons, my peers improved their scores up to 5-10%. In high school, I received near perfect scores for all 4 years of math.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured in the 3 following ways: 1. Based on student needs. Through guided conversation, I will determine the student's area for improvement and tailor all the class material towards that area. Students can also inform me on their strengths and weaknesses so we can work on a highly effective personalized curriculum. 2. Mostly curriculum based lesson During these lessons, I will teach any sort of curriculum and add examples based on my experience. I am comfortable and well-knowledged to teach most, if not all curriculums for K-Grade 8 students which means that students and parents can provide me with curriculum. Simply directly message me before class and I will prep lessons based on the information provided. 3. Tutoring Students can approach me with homework questions they need help with and I will help them understand the question. I will slowly explain what's confusing and guide the students to form their own answers, rather than giving the answer. My methodology is "teaching, not telling"
