About Emma
I am an Environmental Management Masters student at UTas with a Bachelors degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I served in the Peace Corps after my undergraduate studies, so I have experiencing tutoring english to students of all ages and levels as well as experience learning and becoming proficient in writing and speaking a new language myself.

Students tend to have different learning styles, for example some students learn better by writing, some by speaking, some by listening, and some though interaction with other students. I try my best to understand the learning styles of each of my individual students to see how I can work with them specifically to be accomplish their english goals. I am also a very empathetic and patient teacher as I have had to learn a new language recently myself and know it can be very challenging!
