About Cassidy
I am a USC graduate with a M.A. in Teaching and UCSB graduate with a B.A. in Language, Culture, and Society. I love to empower students’ voices through writing and encourage students to think critically about our modern world as they read complex texts. English used to be a daunting subject for me until I started connecting my life to literature and using writing scaffolds. As a tutor and teacher, I understand that everyone learns differently and it is my job to create lessons that meet students’ individual needs.
