About Daniel
I am a senior with a 3.91 GPA at the University of Southern California, majoring in Economics and Business Finance. Before USC, I earned a 3.95 GPA at Lakeside Highschool (#6 ranked High School in the US by Niche.com) and got a 1490 SAT. My tutoring specialties include Calculus and Microeconomics.
At USC, I was on the D1 Men's Golf Team, and my hobbies included working out, boxing, and spending time with friends!
At Lakeside Highschool, I earned a 3.95 GPA. I received no A- in my mathematics-related courses, earning A's in Geometry, Accelerated Precalculus, Algebra II, Physics, BC Accelerated Calculus, and Advanced Physics: Applications and Engineering.
On my 1490 SAT score, I received an almost perfect score of 790 on the Math Section.
I continued my mathematics at USC, where I received an A in Calculus I.
At the University of Southern California, I'm a 4th-year economics major with a minor in Business Finance, where I have earned a 3.91 GPA. In my economics-related courses, I've received grades of:
A in Principles of Macroeconomics
A in Principles of Microeconomics
A- in Intermediate Microeconomics
A- in Intermediate Macroeconomics
A- in Economic Statistics
These courses have been within the past four semesters, and classes build on past material, so the content is still very relevant and fresh in my mind.
I look forward to meeting you, please reach out if you have any questions!

During a session, the first thing I do is teach test-taking skills. Performing on tests has two components: 1) knowing the content and 2) being in a good mental space. Most students underperform on exams because they get anxious and panic, so I teach strategies to get in the best mental space for test day.
I then go into tutoring the actual content. Typically, the student brings their material from class and we go over the content together.
My lessons are for those taking Calculus or Microeconomics from middle school level to college.
