About Anjali

Hi! I’m Anjali, a USC graduate with a B.S. in Biopharmaceutical Sciences and an M.S. in Healthcare Decision Analysis. I currently work in the life sciences industry in San Francisco, where I focus on strategy and competitive intelligence.

I’ve always been interested in the question of what actually makes someone stand out — not just in school, but when applying for internships and jobs. I’ve personally gone through the college application process, competitive internships, graduate school, and early-career recruiting, and I know how overwhelming it can feel to figure out what to say, what to highlight, and how to differentiate yourself.

I love helping students take their experiences — even when they don’t think they have much to work with — and turn them into a compelling story. My goal is to make the process feel less confusing and help you walk into applications and interviews feeling genuinely prepared.

About the lesson

Getting into college, landing a great internship, and getting your first job are all incredibly competitive right now — and having good grades alone isn’t always enough.

I’ve been on both sides of that process. As a USC graduate with a background in biopharmaceutical sciences and healthcare decision analysis, I’ve gone through competitive college admissions, internships, recruiting, interviews, and early-career hiring myself. I now work in the life sciences industry and know how much goes into standing out beyond what’s simply listed on your résumé.

I want to help you do exactly that.

Whether you’re preparing for college applications, trying to land your first internship, applying for jobs, or getting ready for an interview, I’ll help you figure out how to present your experiences, tell your story, and communicate what makes you different.

Sessions can include résumé and LinkedIn feedback, application strategy, personal statements, mock interviews, behavioral interview preparation, internship/job search strategy, and figuring out how to position your experiences when you feel like you don’t have enough to stand out yet.

I’m not here to give you a generic template and send you on your way. We’ll work through your specific goals and make sure you leave with something you can actually use.
