About Jacob
When I was in grade 10, I averaged a C- in my courses. However, by the end of 11th grade I changed that to an A average. How was this done? It was all cultivated through the guidance of a teacher I had, who took the time to help me in multiple topics before and after school. From this experience, I learnt that no matter how hard you try to learn new concepts, you simply can't build a house on a foundation of twigs. You must first build a concrete foundation before beginning to construct the more advanced sections. This is the approach I take in all topics!

My approach to teaching is based around simplification, and using that understanding of the simplified concept to build a foundation of reasoning for higher level ideas. This is often done by relating a concept to its real-world application, allowing for the student to have a familiarity with the subject outside of the classroom.
