About Zulfiqar

My name is Zulfiqar and I am a third-year Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honors) student at the University of Adelaide. I have received academic awards throughout my degree and hold written letters of recommendation from university professors, which I am happy to share upon request.
I take tutoring seriously. Every student I work with gets a session that is prepared, focused, and adapted to their specific needs. I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach. Before we dive into content, I take the time to understand where a student is struggling and why, so that the time we spend together actually moves the needle.
My background in university-level chemistry means I have a thorough understanding of the subject well beyond the SACE curriculum. That depth allows me to explain concepts clearly, from multiple angles, until they click.
I am punctual, well-prepared, and committed to helping students genuinely improve. Parents can expect clear communication and students can expect to leave each session with more clarity than they came in with.

About the lesson

My name is Zulfiqar, a third-year Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honors) student at the University of Adelaide. I hold academic awards from my university and have written recommendations from my professors, so you can be confident you're working with someone who genuinely knows the subject.
I tutor students from Year 8 through to Year 12, with a strong focus on SACE Chemistry and Biology. My sessions are built around understanding concepts first, not just memorizing answers. I break down difficult topics step by step, work through past exam questions, and tailor each lesson to where the student is actually struggling.
Lessons typically run for one hour. I keep things structured but relaxed so students feel comfortable asking questions they wouldn't ask in class.
I am available all days, and can offer sessions in person around Adelaide or online via Zoom.
Whether your child is just trying to build a strong chemistry and biology foundation in Year 8 or pushing for a high ATAR in Year 12, I can help them build real confidence in the subjects.
