About Jay
I'm currently a uni student at UNSW, just finished my HSC in 2017.
During the break after HSC I tutored a yr-11 student on math extension-2, which helped her prepare for the yr-12 course and I received her positive feedback on the quality of my math teaching.
Throughout my high school career I had always been helping my classmates/friends with their maths problems, and it turned out that my interpretation of maths was always easy for them to understand and made maths more fun to learn.
I help students to learn and solve maths problems by giving them a thorough understanding of the concepts, and the skill to apply maths in different ways.
With my help and your own effort, you will enjoy maths and become better in exams !

Hi there, this is Jay.
I finished my HSC in 2017, in which I received band 6s in both Maths extension-1 and Maths extension-2, as well as an overall atar of 96.55.
I tutor maths for both HSC and non-HSC students from middle school to yr-12, (younger students are also welcome!)
The structure of my teaching can vary depending on students' preferences, but mainly include Explaining key/ hard concepts, Going through examples and Practicing relevant questions.
I focus on helping students to have thorough understanding and application of maths, in a way that's easy and fun.
I believe that the understanding of maths is the key to master this subject.
