About Ella
"High grades in economics come from applying models to unseen data rather than just memorizing definitions. Students usually assume that complex graphs are the most important part of an exam paper. I focus on showing you that clear writing and logical structure carry more weight than intricate diagrams alone.
We will work through custom topic summary sheets that distill market structures and elasticity into manageable frameworks for your exams. University freshmen and business students benefit from my focus on how international trade policies shift local supply and demand curves. I keep my instructions practical to ensure the concepts remain clear during high pressure testing.
You will find that these strategies turn abstract theories into manageable components for your final assessment. Clarity is the key to your success."

"Have you ever wondered why economic models often fail to predict real world volatility in the way the textbooks suggest? After finishing my Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Actuarial Studies at UNSW, I spent 8 years at a Sydney fintech firm before choosing to teach economics to IB and A-level students, university freshmen, and business students. Integrating my background in data science with classical microeconomics allows me to show learners how inflation, unemployment, and trade dynamics actually function in markets.
I enjoy working with students who want to move past rote memorization to truly understand the mechanics of GDP and national income. My experience with 80 students has shown me that mastering data response techniques is the most reliable way to improve scores. I find that economics is a way of thinking that stays with me."
