About Jade

Hi all! My name is Jade, and I’m currently a first-year Commerce/Law student at UNSW and completed VCE in Melbourne with a 97.8 ATAR. Having recently gone through high school myself, I understand the pressure that comes with balancing assignments, SACs and exams especially in senior years. Because of this, I aim to create lessons that are both supportive and productive, helping students improve academically while also building confidence in their own abilities.

I offer tutoring in English, Business, Japanese and Math for students in Years 7–12. I believe that every student learns differently, so I focus on explaining concepts clearly and adapting lessons to suit individual needs rather than relying on one fixed method. I want you all to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes during lessons, because that is often where the most improvement happens.

About the lesson

I take a patient and supportive approach to tutoring, with lessons tailored to each student’s individual learning style and goals. Rather than simply memorizing content, I focus on helping students genuinely understand concepts and build confidence in applying them independently. I know that content learning could feel overwhelming at times, trust me I've been there as well. And hence I will try my best to break difficult topics down into simpler, more manageable steps.

My lessons are interactive and flexible depending on what the student needs most. This may include going through school content, improving essay writing and exam techniques, reviewing homework or working through practice questions together.

Lessons are typically flexible in length, usually around 1–2 hours depending on the student’s preference. I mainly offer online lessons and aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and learn at their own pace.

My tutoring is mainly for high school students from Years 7–12 or seeking extra support and extension in English, Business, or Japanese.
