About Heather
I have worked within primary schools as both a teaching assistant and as a class teacher teaching the entire curriculum. I am able to provide sessions for maths as well as other subjects that your child may need help with. I have experience working with SEND children as well as those with low confidence so am able to adapt my teaching to these groups. I have also taught high achieving students who require challenging and I am confident in stretching these children.

I work in a flexible manner, adapting my teaching to the needs of the child/children. I aim to use a variety of methods, from formal questioning to fun games and problem solving, in order to engage the child and place the learning into real life contexts to ensure mastery.
