I have 40 years in the field -- as a programmer with the US Federal Government, as the Director of Data Processing (now called "CIO) at two major Wall Street firms, as a consultant and co-owner of a consulting firm with clients ranging from individuals to foreign governments, as a college professor, and as a writer on the subject with over 2,500 columns and articles for such publications as Computer Shopper, InfoWorld, and local papers. I regularly use Windows systems, Macintoshes, and Chromebooks. I have two Masters -- an MS-IS and an MPA
I want everyone to comfortable with technology. It is a tool to be used and not an end in itself
