As a highly dedicated and accomplished musician, I have devoted my life to pursuing excellence in Western music. With a strong foundation in music theory and performance, I hold a Diploma in Music Production from the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT), Noida, and have complemented my Western music expertise holding Grade 8 certification in Pop Music from London College of Music. With extensive teaching experience, I have developed a unique and effective approach to music instruction, emphasizing essential techniques, music theory, performance, and student-centered learning. Currently, I serve as a Western Music Teacher at Superprof, UrbanPro, TeachersOn, Lessonpal and Spardha School of Music, teaching students of diverse ages and skill levels. Milda is an amazing student. In our first class, I noticed she struggled with breathing, voice projection, pitch and melody clarity, and vocal stability. However, within just a few months, the progress she made was truly inspiring. At such a young age, she is now able to sing challenging songs with a stable voice and strong projection. Her consistent practice is undoubtedly the key to her remarkable improvement. She is a great example of how dedication and practice can truly develop one’s skills.

Kindly note ₹1000 per class is my charge for group classes (initially the student would take couple of individual classes with me and once the basics are clear they are added to group classes)

If the student is solely looking for individual classes then i charge ₹2000/- per class.

1. Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I am a Western Vocal Coach with a deep passion for singing that began at a very young age. My musical journey started with over 10 years of training in Carnatic music, which laid a strong foundation for my skills. Later, I developed an interest in Western music, aspiring to become a versatile singer. I pursued formal training in Western music for six years and achieved a Grade 8 certification in Pop from the London College of Music. To further enhance my expertise, I studied Music Production at the Asian Academy of Film and Television. For the past five years, I have been working as a dedicated vocal coach, sharing my knowledge and experience with aspiring singers.
2. What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
My mom was a teacher, and I've always had a love for teaching. However, I wasn't entirely sure if it was the career path I wanted to pursue. One day, while casually scrolling through Instagram, I came across a tutoring opportunity on Superprof and decided to give it a try. That's how I got my very first student.

Teaching her brought me immense joy as I shared my knowledge of music in a structured and meaningful way. It also deepened my understanding of the subject as I learned from her mistakes and explored answers to her questions. I realized that I was growing alongside her.

In that moment, I knew for certain that teaching music is something I want to do for the rest of my life, no matter where I am. It allows me to stay connected to my ultimate passion.
3. How does your work help society?
Music is a universal language that everyone enjoys. Many people believe they are natural-born singers, while others feel they lack the talent. However, through my own musical journey and the lessons I've learned, I firmly believe that *anyone with a voice can sing.* Every student who comes to me for singing lessons receives my promise: no matter how much control you may currently lack, with proper training, dedication, and patience, I can help you feel confident in both your voice and yourself.
4. If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
One of my favorite singers, and the artist who sparked my passion for music, is Michael Jackson. Growing up listening to his songs, I developed a deep connection to music. I'm also incredibly grateful to all the teachers who have guided me along the way and have been my role models. Thanks to their support, I am now able to pursue my passion as a career. I definitely want to be a teacher like them, helping my students feel more confident in themselves.
5. Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Apart from teaching, listening to music and singing are my favorite hobbies. I'm also a songwriter and music composer, and I feel most connected to myself when creating my own music. Besides that, I enjoy traveling and swimming. During my leisure time, I often find myself cleaning and rearranging my room and cupboard, which I find surprisingly therapeutic.
6. Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
When I was very young, my parents discovered my singing talent and enrolled me in singing classes. However, I never saw myself becoming a singer-it was just a hobby I enjoyed. Growing up, I imagined a future in science or engineering, inspired by my good grades in science and my father, who made the subject fascinating and easy to understand.

It's unbelievable to think that 13-year-old me would grow up to be a singer at 23, having taught music to over 100 students. While science and math were my favorite subjects in school, I never imagined that music would become my greatest passion. I am beyond grateful that I could turn my love for music into a career, allowing me to become a financially independent woman by the age of 20. I'm deeply thankful to everyone who encouraged and supported me on this journey.
