About Carina

I am a dynamic native Spanish teacher dedicated to providing engaging and high-quality language instruction. With my extensive experience and qualifications (M.Ed. in Spanish literature, linguistics, and M.Sc. in Economics/Business) , I’m here to inspire confidence in my students as they embark on their language-learning journey.

Educational Background:
- I hold a Teaching Degree in the UK (QTS), Spain (CAP) and Germany (Lehramt).

Professional Credentials:
- I’ve conducted International Baccalaureate (IB) exams
- I have an extended DBS check available online

As a Spanish native speaker who has learned seven languages myself, I understand the challenges and joys of language learning.

As a passionate native Spanish educator, I take a friendly and engaging approach to tutoring. I’d love to help you on your journey to learning Spanish:

- With specific online resources, I ensure our time together is valuable while providing helpful homework to reinforce learning.
- I adjust the pace and methods to fit your needs, making our classes enjoyable and productive.
- We recap vocabulary and put new knowledge into context giving it structure.

- I’m a motivating tutor who understands the requirements of different school curricula.
- I teach international Spanish, which helps you develop clear, standard Spanish that is widely understood across various regions, such as Spain, Mexico, and Argentina. This approach focuses on universal vocabulary, avoids regional slang, and provides a solid foundation for professional and formal communication.

- Beginners: We focus on everyday situations to help you progress quickly.
- Advanced Learners: We go into more depth with topics and skills you may need, making grammar fun and interesting.
- Exam Preparation: I know the ins and outs of GCSE, IB, A-levels, DELE and German Abitur, having successfully helped many students prepare for their exams.
- I also offer specialized instruction in Business Spanish (2nd degree in Economics)
