About Mahendhar Kumar
I'm a mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Toronto, teaching kids has always been a passion of mine. Ever since I was a high school student, I have had a deep love for math and physics, and I have always been eager to share that love with others. That's why I decided to pursue a career in engineering, as it allowed me to combine my love for math and physics with my desire to make a positive impact on the world.
Throughout my undergraduate years, I was involved in a variety of personal and community service initiatives. I volunteered at local schools, where I tutored kids in math and physics, and I also participated in several community service projects aimed at promoting STEM education among underprivileged children.
In addition to my personal and community service activities, I also worked as a teaching assistant for mathematics during my engineering degree. This experience gave me valuable insight into the challenges that students face when it comes to math, as well as the strategies that are most effective in helping them overcome those challenges.
One of my greatest strengths as a tutor is my ability to connect with students and make them feel comfortable and at ease. I am friendly, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that my students have the support and guidance they need to succeed.
