This lesson aims to create a well-rounded reading experience for students. The initial 30 minutes will be focused on assigned reading material, fostering essential academic skills such as analyzing texts and extracting relevant information. The second half of the lesson will provide students with an opportunity to dive into reading for pleasure. By delving into books, articles, or online resources aligned with their personal interests, students will cultivate a genuine enthusiasm for reading. This segment aims to spark curiosity, expand knowledge, and promote independent reading habits.
Throughout the lesson, the tutor will actively participate in discussions about the assigned reading and the student's chosen material. This interactive approach will help assess comprehension, provide guidance, and encourage critical thinking. By incorporating both structured and leisure reading, this lesson seeks to foster a well-rounded reader who excels academically and finds joy in exploring diverse subjects.
