About Opal
As a classical pianist with over six years of teaching experience, I have dedicated my life to the pursuit of musical excellence and the joy of sharing that passion with others. My journey began at a young age, captivated by the intricate beauty of classical compositions and the emotional depth they convey. Through rigorous training and countless hours of practice, I have honed my skills and developed a teaching philosophy centered on patience, creativity, and personalized instruction tailored to each student's unique learning style and goals.
Beyond the piano, I have a deep appreciation for a wide range of artistic expressions. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring various genres of music, from jazz and blues to contemporary pop, which not only broadens my own musical horizons but also enriches the lessons I provide to my students. This diverse musical interest allows me to connect with students who have different musical tastes, helping them find joy and motivation in playing the piano by incorporating their favorite songs into our lessons.
Outside of music, I have a passion for literature and the visual arts. I often find inspiration for my piano compositions and teaching methods in novels, poetry, and paintings, which I believe add a layer of depth and creativity to my work. Additionally, I love spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking in nature or simply enjoying a peaceful afternoon in the park.
