About Robert
I am a 37-year-old father of three boys with a lifelong passion for technology and innovation. Throughout my career, I’ve dedicated myself to staying at the forefront of technological advancements and continuously expanding my expertise. My wife often reminds me that the skills I’ve developed could provide real value to others—and I’m now looking to do just that. I currently work full time in a technical leadership role and serve as the lead for training within my organisation, where I mentor colleagues and help upskill teams across various technical domains. Outside of work, I coach youth football and basketball, which has helped me develop strong communication and teaching skills, particularly with younger learners. I’m now exploring opportunities to deliver lessons or mentorship sessions in the evenings or weekends, with the aim of helping others grow their confidence and capability in tech.

I am a data scientist with over 15 years of experience, specialising in tools such as Excel, Power BI, and most recently, Microsoft Fabric, where I successfully led the implementation of a full data infrastructure for my organisation. My approach to teaching is highly personalised—I tailor each lesson to suit your individual needs, goals, and learning style, recognising that everyone absorbs information differently. I am currently pursuing an Honours degree in Data Science to continue advancing my knowledge, and I’m committed to supporting you on your learning journey with practical insights, patience, and clear guidance.
