I am a college student and an aspiring English Language Arts and English as a Secondary Language educator. My passion drives me to inspire and empower students to reach their full potential. By working on a Bachelor's and Master's of Education, I believe in a student-centered approach, promoting critical thinking, creativity, and autonomy. I am committed to building meaningful relationships with my students, fostering their growth and learning by doing. I strive to be a lifelong learner, continually seeking ways to improve my teaching and better serve my students. I am passionate about education. As a tutor, I believe in tailoring my approach to each student's specific learning needs. I promote student-driven work, where students are at the forefront, and use reciprocal teaching and student choice techniques to encourage critical thinking and creativity. My teaching philosophy is centered around progressivism, where education starts with the student, and I adjust my instruction to match their interests and concerns. I work to build a genuine rapport with my students and am always open to their suggestions to improve my practice. I am committed to promoting higher-order thinking and empowering students to become better-educated individuals in our community
