About Cassandra
Heeyyy everyone, my name is Cassandra, I'm a polyglot and my life purpose is to create different projects in order to have a positive impact on people’s lives all around the world. I have many years of language mentoring/tutoring experience and self-studying multiple languages at the same time and, over the years, I had the opportunity to use different languages learning methods.
I had the opportunity to travel and to culturally immerse myself in more than 10 countries where I had the opportunity to teach French and English to the local population. I also took 2 online courses in ''Educational Neuroscience'' and ''The Science of Learning''.
I sincerely love to connect with the local culture when I travel and I was so committed to overcoming the language barrier that I was able to self-teach myself… 15 languages and, for the past few years, I was able to gradually integrate all these languages in my daily life.
However, my ‘’polyglot journey’’ wasn’t always easy… In fact, as a (very!) busy person, even though a really wanted to be fluent in my target language, my biggest struggle was to find a balance between improving my skills in my target language and the other aspects of my life. As a result, being constantly exhausted had a huge impact on my motivation and, eventually, I’ve lost my purpose.
In order to achieve my linguistics goals, I had to develop additional tools to maintain my language level in these languages without feeling overwhelmed/burned out. Now, I'm able to integrate them in my daily life!
Contrary to the popular belief, learning a new language is not as hard as it seems to be. With my theoretical knowledge in educational neuroscience and my practical knowledge in self-learning languages and in tutoring many other people to achieve their fluency goals and to be able to communicate in their target language with confidence, I’m here to show you how to be motivated and how to learn and to remember your target language for life!
