About Joanna

I love traveling and changing places—I lived in Israel (Erasmus+ for 6 months, and I currently live in the Czech Republic). My freelance teaching business allows me to do this.

Teaching is a large part of my life. Every day I work with mathematics, chemistry, and English (sometimes also with Persian, which some of my family uses). I know that regularity and repetition—just like at the gym, which I love—have a huge impact on results, so I strive for consistency and reps ;).

I completed my second-cycle studies at the Faculty of Chemical Technology at the Poznań University of Technology, taught in English. Thanks to this, I speak English fluently and also teach in that language. These studies perfectly combined my interests: mathematics, chemistry, and English. I didn't find my place in a corporate environment—I needed freedom of action—which is why I've been successfully running my own business for four years (previously in Poland, currently in the Czech Republic).

Additionally, when time allows, I create educational content on social media. I already have my first videos on YouTube and TikTok and I plan to develop this direction.

About the lesson

Teaching others is my passion.
I offer individual math lessons.

I help with:
🟩 preparing for IGCSE
🟩 catching up and strengthening the basics
🟩 preparing for the Polish Matura exam:
– math (basic)
– chemistry (advanced)
– English (basic and advanced)
🟩 current school material and homework
🟩 preparing for tests

I teach in English and I can also prepare English‑speaking students for the Polish Matura exam.

I explain difficult concepts clearly and simply.
I have separate posting for chemistry, and students can switch subjects depending on their needs.

I have experience working with students with dyscalculia and conducting lessons based on recommendations from psychological and pedagogical counseling centers.

I adapt the pace, methods, and materials to each student’s individual needs.

Classes are held online (I currently live in Prague, CZ).
If you are in Prague, I can also offer in‑person lessons.
