About Charlie
I am currently a student at the university of York, with a keen interest in Chemistry, specifically biological and medicinal chemistry. I believe that a successful education is key to every person’s future and struggling to understand topics shouldn’t be the end of someone’s story! I have a dream of empowering students to do well in their academics and I want to use my knowledge to help them on that journey. While I do my upmost to maintain professionalism throughout my work, I also have a level of understanding for my potential students as I’ve had tutors teach me before and know how boring some can be! I believe that forming a good connection with my clients is just as important as teaching them so I will try my best to make sessions just as fun as they are educational.

I teach GCSE/A-Level science, starting at any ability. I take a targeted approach, doing a consultation for my students to distinguish their weaknesses and strengths and moving from there, using specific topic questions, past exam papers, and my own questions to push their knowledge and giving my own insights into how to approach various questions. I will work at any pace, as I believe in seeing every student achieve their goals.
